Knight Manager
Medieval RPG that started as an Alexa game and can now be played in the iPhone/iPad app with VoiceOver, labelled controls, buttons, or typed commands.
Short verdict
Blind iOS players who like text/voice games, RPG progression, and community features. Try it free first because direct startup without Alexa is new and not yet broadly confirmed by independent players.

Accessibility
- The developer accessibility page says buttons, images, messages, and interactive elements have VoiceOver labels.
- Game commands such as /backpack, /resources, and /roll should create cards with complete VoiceOver descriptions of contents and results.
- Trading, gifts, emoji reactions, and messages are described as operable with VoiceOver.
- The developer’s AppleVis post says game mode speaks results, new chat messages can be announced, and play works through buttons or typed commands.
- Supports Dynamic Type, Voice Control, dark interface, text instead of colour-only status, high contrast, and reduced motion.
Known limitations
- Creating a new knight directly in the app is brand new. I found developer confirmation, but limited independent testing of the full new-player flow without Alexa.
- One AppleVis user reported Dark Forest disconnects after one to two minutes on an iPhone 14 with iOS 26.6.
- Diamonds can currently only be bought through Alexa, although other players say they can also be earned in-game.
- The App Store text is stale and still says a Knight Manager account/voice-link code from Alexa is required. Use the free app to test before investing time.
- Norwegian language support is not confirmed.
Price/status
Free app. The developer’s AppleVis post says there are no in-app purchases; optional diamond purchases are handled through Alexa.
Free iPhone/iPad app. On 13 October 2026 the developer posted that new players can start directly in the app without an Echo or Alexa app, but the App Store text still describes the older companion/voice-link flow.
