Marvel’s Wolverine hotfix makes scent trails and sound indicators fainter

In short
Hotfix 1.001.005 reduces the visibility of scent trails and visual sound indicators in Marvel’s Wolverine. The aids may now be harder to see for some low-vision players.
Version 1.001.005 has been deployed on PlayStation 5. Insomniac Games says the update lowers the opacity of Scent Trails and Audio Sense indicators to make the visuals less intense. The hotfix also addresses crashes experienced by a small percentage of players since launch.
Both changes affect visual aids. Can I Play That? says the reduced visibility may make them less usable for low-vision players, although the change is not expected to determine the accessibility of the rest of the game.
Insomniac is exploring toggleable Senses options for a future update. There is no timeline or documented setting to restore the previous intensity yet, and the patch notes do not say that audio cues or navigation assist have changed.
