lightkeeper
Short browser-based audio game where you rotate a lighthouse with Left and Right Arrow and guide ships by their horn direction.
Short verdict
Blind players who want to try a free, simple headphone game in the browser. It is best when you can activate the itch.io game frame and play with stereo or headphones.

Accessibility
- The developer page describes the game as fully auditory and requiring headphones.
- The game uses directional audio: ship horns come from different directions and grow louder as ships approach.
- Controls are simple: Left and Right Arrow rotate the lighthouse toward the sound.
- A ringing bell confirms a saved ship; a crash sound is used when you fail to line up in time.
- Inspection of the game package shows recorded prompts for headphones, start with Space, and try again with Space.
Known limitations
- This is a small jam game, not a large independently tested accessibility release.
- The game runs inside a Godot/HTML5 canvas. I did not find screen-reader-readable in-canvas menus, so the recorded audio prompts and itch.io page text matter.
- On itch.io, you normally need to press Run game and get keyboard focus into the game frame before Space and the Arrow keys work.
- Headphones or clear stereo are required. Mono audio or poor stereo separation will make the game difficult or unusable.
- Norwegian language support is not confirmed.
