Toasty
Push-your-luck card game on web and mobile test builds with keyboard controls, screen-reader/text-to-speech output, and a repeat command.
Short verdict
Blind players who want to try a card game in a browser or on Android/iOS test builds. Prefer the dedicated game page if the itch.io frame causes screen-reader issues.

Accessibility
- The official page describes browser screen-reader support through an interactive canvas that updates the screen reader with game state.
- On first browser launch, an accessible prompt lets you enable or skip text-to-speech; I confirmed those buttons appear in the browser accessibility tree.
- Android and iOS test builds are intended to speak through a running screen reader or built-in text-to-speech, according to the developer.
- Keyboard: Arrow keys/WASD to move selection, X/Enter/Space to choose, Escape for settings, and R to repeat the last readout/navigation controls.
- Settings include volume, animation speed, cursor colour, and text-to-speech.
Known limitations
- This is a very new jam game in active development. I did not find a full independent blind-player review yet.
- Browser text-to-speech is described by the developer as experimental and may be unreliable in some browsers.
- The developer warns that screen readers may work worse inside the itch.io frame; use the dedicated host if that happens.
- The game uses a canvas rather than native HTML controls, so quality depends on the game’s own readout code.
- Mobile versions are test/APK builds, not finished store releases. Norwegian language support is not confirmed.
Price/status
Free on itch.io. The Android APK can be downloaded from itch.io; iOS requires the TestFlight link.
Free browser game on itch.io as of July 2026. An Android APK is available, and an iOS test build is available through TestFlight, but the mobile versions are still in active development.
