Pathologic 3 update fixes highlights and text for low-vision players
Published:
In short
Pathologic 3's October update fixes visual highlights, map icons, and text that could overlap or extend beyond the screen. It also adds an easier difficulty.
Ice-Pick Lodge released the large update on 23 October. The game's Concentration ability highlights people and objects in the environment. Several missing highlights have been added or repaired, while elements with no available interaction should no longer appear as though they can be used.
Quest markers are now drawn over district-exit markers on the map, and different types of decrees have distinct icons. The update also fixes text wrapping in the save menu, tooltips that could extend off screen, and descriptions that did not fit. An easier and a harder difficulty join the original setting. Spoken and subtitle languages can be selected independently.
Pathologic 3 is a first-person horror role-playing game for Windows. Its Steam listing does not include screen narration, so these changes do not document playability without sight. The interface, speech, and subtitles are available in English and Russian, but not Norwegian. The regular Norwegian Steam price is NOK 390.
