Quiz King launches with VoiceOver and TalkBack quiz duels

In short

Quiz King – Duel is a free trivia game for iPhone, iPad, and Android. VoiceOver and TalkBack read questions, answers, time, and scores, while players can respond by touch or speech.

Questions are available in solo rounds lasting 30 or 60 seconds, a weekly marathon, and duels with friends or random opponents. Both players receive the same questions in the same order. The game has more than 5,200 English and 5,100 German questions.

With a screen reader, focus moves to each new question automatically and the four answers follow in a fixed order. Time, score, and an opponent’s result remain available during play. On iPhone, a VoiceOver action or Magic Tap repeats the question. Voice input accepts the answer or its number, while an optional quizmaster voice can read questions without a screen reader. Larger text and reduced motion are also supported.

The iPhone and iPad edition arrived on 19 October. Version 1.0.2 followed on 20 October to fix an iOS 27 problem where VoiceOver did not read questions and answers or allow swiping without first touching the screen. The Android edition was updated the same day with better TalkBack support and voice input. These details come from the developer and store listings; an independent complete playthrough has not yet been published.

The app has no advertising. Regular trivia rounds are unlimited, while five random duels and one marathon attempt are free each day. More attempts use earned or purchased tickets, or an optional subscription. The Apple edition requires iOS or iPadOS 17 or later; Android requires version 8 or later.
