Accessibility
- The official itch.io page says the game is intended to be fully accessible to blind and Deaf players, and itch.io marks it as blind friendly, high contrast, color-blind friendly, and subtitled.
- The game is keyboard-controlled and listed as about a half-hour session.
- Devlogs describe echolocation and directional audio: turning helps separate sounds in front from sounds behind.
- The yacht has a rudder sound from its rear, rocks make sound, and an audio menu lets you listen through the game sounds.
- Captions for Deaf players are also fed to screen readers for blind players.
- The settings menu includes master/sound-effects volume and echolocation-width adjustment.
Known limitations
- I found no independent blind-player test or community report at publication time; the verdict is based on the official itch.io page and several developer devlogs.
- Before release, the developer noted intermittent issues with some screen readers. Test with your own screen reader before relying on it as safely playable.
- Some settings sliders were earlier described as unfinished; I did not find practical documentation confirming every menu and the full flow with a screen reader.
- The game is in English. Norwegian text or speech is not confirmed.
- Downloads are separate itch.io files for Windows, macOS, and Linux; mobile and console versions are not listed.
